During the Summer of 2017, Munkowitz embarked on an ultra-inspiring Photography Adventure through the amazing country of Iceland, traveling with his homies from the PhoGøls collective – Jake Sargeant and James Heredia. Together they spent 11 days exploring various sites from all over the island, pushing themselves to keep it dialed and produce results they could be proud of.
This particular series is from a 3 hour Helicopter Ride with Volcano Heli – a first for the group. They toured over the south eastern part of the country, over rivers, mountains, craters and of course glaciers – it was quite the epic variety of terrain to photograph.
